London’s Transport Museum opened a new permanent gallery at the end of 2015. The gallery is called ‘London by Design’ and will explore how London’s transport has become one of the world’s most enduring examples of successful brand identity and a world leader in transport design.
Kin Design contributed to the design of the gallery and commissioned Studio Tinto to create over 15 minutes worth of animations to be projected along the gallery’s floor using 3 HD projectors rendered at 60 frames per second. As always it was a pleasure to give movement to Kin’s powerful design and even more so to see in situ in the Transport Museum’s lovely new gallery.
